Restaurant Group Bilked Investor Out Of Visa Funds, Suit Says

Law360, Los Angeles (December 4, 2015, 8:11 PM ET) — A Chinese investor accused a Las Vegas-based owner of Papa John’s locations and other restaurants of absconding with $500,000 he invested in new sandwich shops that were supposed to secure him an EB-5 visa after a company merger, according to a suit filed Thursday in California federal court.
