Texas Drops Appeal In Syrian Refugee Resettlement Case

Law360, Dallas (October 7, 2016, 6:15 PM EDT) — Texas on Friday pulled its Fifth Circuit appeal of a trial court’s decision to throw out its suit challenging the resettlement of Syrian refugees in the state, just days after the Seventh Circuit rejected an Indiana policy that would have stopped aid groups from using federal money to help Syrians.
