Meet Our Immigration Attorney

A native of Lebanon, a young Ahmad Yakzan came to the United States as a student in 1998. Having only a student visa, he worked hard toward achieving his goal of becoming a US citizen.

With a passion for helping others, Ahmad began as a law clerk at Ellen Gorman P.A. in 2011. This is a boutique law firm that specializes in immigration law. He then joined Tucker & Ludin P.A., where he led the firm’s immigration law section.

Ahmad is also a frequent lecturer on immigration law. He was even a former adjunct professor of immigration law at St. Petersburg College.

After four years of learning the ins and outs from some of the best attorneys, Ahmad finally decided to establish his own practice—the American Dream Law Office, PLLC in 2015. His leadership helped his firm become one of the leading immigration law firms in the Tampa Bay area.

Ahmad Yakzan experienced firsthand the arduous struggle to gain US citizenship and achieve the American dream. That is why he aims to assist people of different nationalities to attain their own immigration goals.

Educational Background

Before becoming an attorney, Ahmad Yakzan attended Brevard Community College and earned his AA degree. He then made one of the best decisions of his life by transferring to Stetson University in Deland, Florida to earn his bachelor’s degree in Political Science. While awaiting his enrollment in law school, Ahmad earned his master’s degree in Business Administration from Stetson University in 2005.

In 2008, Ahmad achieved his lifelong dream of becoming an attorney after graduating from Stetson University College of Law. He then earned his Juris Doctorate with a concentration in international law in the same year and his Master of Letters (LLM) in International Law in 2009 from the same university.
